THUMBPRINT COOKIE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
Dash of salt
2 c. flour
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix butter, sugar, yolks and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt, mold into balls and roll in nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Remove and make thumbprint on top of cookie. Return and bake 5 to 9 minutes more. When cool fill with your favorite jelly or jam.
