MERINGUE KISSES 
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. shredded coconut or chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Heat oven to 275 degrees. Put egg whites in small mixer bowl and beat until frothy. Add salt and continue beating until egg whites form soft peaks. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until mixture holds soft peaks. Reduce speed and add coconut or pecans and vanilla. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 1 1/2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until set and delicately browned.
