WATERMELON CAKE 
WHITE PART:

4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Whites of 2 eggs, beaten light
1/2 tsp. almond extract

PINK PART:

Same quantities
2 yolks of eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Sufficient Larkin Cherry-Red pure food color to make pretty pink color
Add 1/2 c. raisins

Line a long narrow pan with waxed paper and pour the first mixture into it, and the pink over that. Bake as layer cake. When cool, make a white icing and color it at pale green with Larkin Apple-Green pure food color. Cut in strips to serve.
