2 c. sugar 1 c. white syrup 1/2 c. cold water 1 tsp. oil flavoring Cook to 240 degrees, add desired food coloring, then cook to 300 degrees. Remove from heat and add flavoring. Pour onto buttered plate. You may spread thin and break into small pieces, or make ropes of it while it is still hot enough to be pliable, and cut with scissors. Coat with powdered sugar. |
