SOUR CREAM - BANANA - NUT LOAF 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, sugar and eggs together. Combine dry ingredients. Blend both mixtures, beating until well mixed. Add mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla and chopped nuts. Pour into buttered medium loaf pan. Sprinkle with sugar, optional. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool on wooden board. Makes 16 slices. Yogurt can be substituted for sour cream. Can make two loaves easily.
