EASY SHRIMP CREOLE 
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, broken up
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. basil
1 lb. fresh or dethawed shrimp, shelled and deveined
Dash of hot sauce

Combine all ingredients except shrimp in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover and microwave on high 8-12 minutes or until green pepper is tender and sauce is bubbly, stirring once. Stir in shrimp; cover. Microwave on high 3-5 minutes, stirring once or twice. Do not over cook. Let stand 3-5 minutes. Serves 4. Best if served over rice. Only 141 calories per serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
