PUMPKIN MUFFINS 
Sugar
1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. seedless raisins

Combine 1/2 cup sugar and next 5 ingredients in bowl; cut in butter until crumbly. Combine egg, pumpkin and evaporated milk in small bowl; mix well. Stir in raisins. Add to flour mixture; stir until just moistened. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon sugar over each. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until brown.
