CREAMY POTATO SOUP 
1 lg. onion
2 tbsp. fat, butter
1 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 c. dry instant mashed potato flakes

Chop the onion. Put into large pan with fat. Cook until onion is tender. Add milk and salt. Heat just to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in flakes. Serve hot. Makes 6, 1 cup servings.
