HOT CHILE SAUCE | |
2 sm. cans green chiles 2 sm. cans jalapeno peppers 3 lg. cans tomatoes (or 3 qt. jars) 3 lg. onions 3 buttons garlic 1 tbsp. oregano 1 can tomato paste Use blender or chop fine. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Can be canned. Hot bath jars for 5-10 minutes. After cooling, be sure they are sealed. This is very hot, to reduce heat, use: 2 cans green chiles 1 can jalapeno peppers 1 3/4 onions 1 button garlic Use same amount of tomatoes, oregano and tomato paste as above. |
