CREOLE VEGETABLE SOUP 
6 c. water
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
1/3 c. barley
Splash Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. Creole seasoning
1 tsp. cumin
1 1/2 tsp. oregano, crushed
Pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Fresh vegetables, whatever you have (onions, carrots, broccoli, zucchini, eggplant, celery, green peppers)
Or bags of frozen vegetables
Dash of Tabasco if you like it hot!

Bring water to boil. Add barley and bouillon. Cook 30 minutes (simmer). Add remaining ingredients and cook until veggies tender. Great with sour dough French bread!
