SEVEN LAYER VEGETABLE SALAD 
1/2 head of lettuce
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped green peppers
1 c. chopped purple onion
1 (17 oz.) can small English peas, drained (le Saeur peas)
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
Grated cheese of choice
4 slices cooked bacon and crumbled

Layer vegetables in order listed in a 2 quart bowl and spread mayonnaise evenly over top. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Cover tightly and chill for 8 hours.
