SIMPLE SALISBURY STEAK 
1 c. cream of mushroom soup
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
1 1/12 c. mushrooms, sliced

In bowl mix 1/4 cup of soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg and onion. Shape into 6 patties. Brown in small amount of oil (spoon off later). Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms to browned beef patties. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until done. Turn patties occasionally. 6 servings.
