WHEAT RAISIN BREAD 
2 1/2 c. unsifted whole wheat flour
1/2 c. unsifted white flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. corn oil
1 c. raisins

Mix flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Stir milk and vinegar together in a small bowl, let stand for 1 minute. Add sugar, oil and molasses and stir into flour mixture just until moistened. Stir in raisins. Bake in greased and floured pan (9x5x3 inch) in a 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Cool on rack. Makes 1 loaf. Reminds you of Boston Brown Bread.
