HOMEMADE VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
4 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 med. onion, diced
4-5 sm. potatoes, peeled & diced
2 pkgs. frozen mixed vegetables
4 c. water
2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, undrained

Brown ground beef and drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until potatoes are tender. Can also use leftover or canned vegetables.
