PINEAPPLE CAKE 
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup oil
2 cups + 2 tablespoons unsifted flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 level teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix all ingredients on medium speed for 4 minutes. Grease & flour 10 x 13 pan. Pour batter in pan & sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.

Icing:

1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon corn syrup

Cook 4 minutes while stirring. When thick, spoon on warm cake.
