DEVILED STEAK SANDWICH | |
1 lb. steak, cubed 1 med. onion, sliced 3 tbsp. light brown sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. oil 1/3 c. steak sauce 2 tbsp. mustard 4 to 5 slices toast 2 hard boiled eggs In a large skillet over medium heat, fry steak in hot oil 2 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Set aside. Reduce heat to medium in same skillet. Cook 1/2 cup water, onion, steak sauce, sugar, mustard and salt until onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Return steak to skillet and cover with onion mixture. Serve steak in onion mixture on toast with egg slices. |
