HOMEMADE BREAD 
3/4 c. warm water
3 pkgs. instant yeast
3 tbsp. sugar

Let stand 10 minutes. Mixture will raise to double its size.

Add to mixture 6 cups milk, 6 tablespoons sugar, and 9 cups flour; mix well with a wooden spoon. Let stand 45 minutes. It will double in size. Add to mixture: 6 tablespoons oil, 3 tablespoons salt. Stir with spoon. Add 3 1/2 cups flour and mix well. Knead mixture with flour until texture is smooth and not sticky. Let stand until mixture raises to double its size.

Separate into 9 loaf pans. Prior to putting in greased loaf pan, knead until no air is in mixture. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes then reduce oven to 375 degrees until top is brown. Remove from oven and pan, cool on rack. Immediately cover top with butter.
