MAPLE BRAN MUFFINS 
3/4 c. natural wheat bran
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. maple syrup
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. oil
1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. chopped walnuts

GLAZE:

1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. maple syrup

Bake at 410 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes in greased muffin tins. Makes 12.
