CLAM CHOWDER 
2 (7 oz.) can clams
6 bacon strips
4 c. potatoes, cubed
1/2 c. onion
1 c. celery
2 c. milk
1 c. table cream
3 tbsp. flour
Salt and pepper
Parsley
butter
1 1/2 c. water

Fry bacon, add clam juice, water, potatoes, celery, and onions. Cook until tender. Add flour to some milk and thicken. Add milk, cream, clams, parsley, and butter.
