PRETZELS 
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. active dry yeast
4 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
Kosher salt

Mix together sugar, salt and warm water. Add yeast and stir until dissolved. Stir in flour. Flour hands. Separate flour mixture into small balls. Flour balls, roll into long snakes and shape into pretzels. Place on greased cookie sheet. Glaze with beaten egg and sprinkle lightly with Kosher salt. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 425 degrees.
