MY MOM'S BREAD PUDDING 
bread slice or left over sandwich buns
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
cinnamon

Butter slices of bread. Cut up an place in a large mixing bowl. Combine egg, milk, sugar and vanilla. Beat the bread and custard mixture until crumbly; pour into greased casserole. sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.

(My mom would usually use about 1/2 loaf of bread and triple custard recipe for our family of 9)
