HOMEMADE GRANOLA 
9 c. old fashioned oats
4 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. whole hazelnuts
1 1/2 c. slivered almonds
3/4 c. honey
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. golden raisins
1 c. dark raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Toss oats, coconut and nuts in 9"x13" pan. Whisk honey and oil together, pour over oat mixture and stir with wooden spoon until all is coated. Bake 35 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally until mixture turns golden. When done, stir in raisins and dates. Substitutes: apricots, figs, prunes.
