GREEN TOMATO PIE 
Delicious with a slice of Velveeta cheese!

5 medium sized green tomatoes
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tbsp. vinegar
butter
refrigerator pie crusts (Pillsbury)

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Peel and cut tomatoes into very small pieces. Place in unbaked 9-inch pie shell.

Mix together sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Sprinkle mixture over green tomatoes. Pour 1 tablespoon vinegar over top of this and add small chunks of butter. Place top crust in place.

Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 325°F and bake for about an hour.
