PRIZE WINNING PUMPKIN PIE 
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. honey (or 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed)
2 c. pumpkin (cooked or canned)
1 c. evaporated milk
2 eggs, beaten

Mix sugar, salt and spices with honey or brown sugar and pumpkin. Heat milk; add with the eggs to pumpkin mixture and blend thoroughly.

Pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes; lower temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking 40 minutes or until knife is clean after being inserted into middle of pie.
