QUICK CHIC
1 env. dry garlic or Italian salad dressing mix
1 tbsp. hot water
1 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 broiler-fryer chicken (2 1/2-3 lb.) cut into serving pieces

Combine dressing mix with water, honey and oil. Arrange chicken (skin side up if it is unskinned) in greased (Pam vegetable spray works great) baking dish. Pour over dressing mixture and brush or spoon over chicken pieces to coat. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until chicken is tender. Baste occasionally.

Microwave: Place chicken pieces, skin side down, in glass shallow baking dish. Place meatier pieces toward outside of pan. Cover with wax paper. Cook on high 8 minutes. Turn chicken skin side up. Pour over dressing mixture. Brush or spoon over chicken pieces to coat. Cover and cook on high 8 minutes. Uncover and cook on high 2 minutes to crisp skin. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 4-6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
