12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips (2 c.) 12 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips (2 c.) 2 c. peanut butter 1 c. butter 3 3/4 oz. pkg. vanilla pudding 2 c. peanuts 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla 2 lbs. powdered sugar Butter a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. In a large bowl melt butterscotch and chocolate chips in the microwave. Stir in peanut butter, mix well. Spread 1/2 of the mixture in prepared pan and chill. Stir peanuts into the remaining chocolate mixture, set aside. In a large bowl melt butter in microwave, add the evaporated milk and stir in the pudding. Cook in the microwave until slightly thickened, stop and stir a few times. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Cool slightly. Carefully spread mixture over chilled chocolate layer. Chill. Drop reserved chocolate and peanut mixture over the chilled pudding layer. Spread to cover. Chill until firm. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator. |
