FRIJOLES AND RIBS 
1 lb. pinto beans, cleaned
1 chopped onion
1/4 c. your favorite barbecue sauce
2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. beef or pork ribs (have the butcher cut them in half lengthwise)
Enough water to cover all ingredients

This is a simple, one dish meal that tastes terrific. If you have a crockpot, cook it for 12-16 hours on low heat, stirring occasionally. If you don't have a crockpot, use a large pot on top of the stove and add water as needed so the beans don't dry out. Cook on low flame. Enjoy.
