DOUGHNUTS WITH SOUR CREAM 
3 eggs (if large, use 2)
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
4 c. bread flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat eggs well. Slowly add sugar, beating constantly. Then add sour cream. Sift flour before measuring. Resift with soda, baking powder and salt. Add any seasoning you like. I use 1 teaspoon nutmeg. Add flour mixture to first mixture. If it seems too stiff, do not add all the flour mix. You may need it when you roll out the doughnuts. NOTE: You can make molasses doughnuts by adding 1/2 cup of molasses and 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger to preceding rule.
