DROP BUTTER COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine first 5 ingredients. Blend well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Blend well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes until lightly browned. Remove immediately from cookie sheet.
