PECAN BRITTLE 
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup white syrup
1/4 cup water
nuts
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Cook sugar, syrup and water to hard crackle. Add nuts. Cook until it starts to tint brown. Then add butter, vanilla and soda. Pour into well greased cookie sheet.
