CHOP SUEY | |
15-20 sm. meat balls 1 med. onion, chopped 2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1 c. diced celery 1 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. La Choy soy sauce 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. Gravy Master 1 can La Choy bean sprouts, drained 1 can mushrooms, drained 2 tbsp. cornstarch Brown meat balls in a little water. Add salt, pepper, celery, onion, and water. Simmer about 15 minutes to soften celery and onion a little. Blend cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water. Add this to meat mixture along with soy sauce, sugar, and Gravy Master. Mix until it thickens, about 1 minute. Add bean sprouts and mushrooms. Heat until warm and serve. |
