EASY DAY PEACH COBBLER 
5 or 6 peaches, pitted and sliced (can use lg. can peaches)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
5 slices white bread
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg
1 stick butter

Preheat oven to 350. Place fruit in buttered baking dish. Cut crusts from bread slices and cut each slice into five fingers. Place the bread fingers over the fruit.

In a bowl mix sugar, flour, egg and butter. Pour over fruit and bread. Bake 35 to 45 minutes, until golden. Makes 5-6 servings.
