1 can apple pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 sticks butter

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes in 9 x 13 pan. Best when served warm. Spread apple filling in bottom of pan. Next sprinkle cake mix over the filling. Spread pecans over cake mix. Melt butter add vanilla and pour evenly over entire pan. If you want lots of fruit use 2 cans filling. Any fruit filling can be used.
