GREEN BEANS IN BASIL AND PECAN
SAUCE
 
3 (15 oz.) cans whole green beans
3/4 c. green onions, finely chopped
3 tbsp. parsley, finely chopped
4 tbsp. fresh basil, finely chopped
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 c. pecans, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. olive oil
Salt and pepper

In blender or food processor combine onions, parsley, basil, lemon juice and oil and blend. Add salt and pepper. Place green beans in serving bowl, sprinkle with pecans and pour sauce over beans. Chill for two hours.
