Into a mixing bowl sift enough flour to make a wide deep hole. Put the following into the hole:

2 c. sugar
5 eggs
Sprinkle of salt
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 c. Crisco

Mix together as old fashioned biscuits. Knead ingredients until mixture becomes a thick mixture. Pour out on a floured board and pinch into balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees until done and brown. Take up with spatula and when cooled, put in cookie jar.
