BANANA BARS 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs; beat together. Add buttermilk; beat. Add mashed bananas, vanilla and dry ingredients. Beat, then pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar

Boil 3 minutes and add powdered sugar to make right texture (about 2 cups). Spread on warm bars.
