3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
3/4 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. pumpkin
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg, pumpkin and milk. Mix together the spices and flour. Add to creamed mixture. Drop into ungreased cookie sheet by spoonful.

Bake 12-15 minutes at 375°F. Let cool. Drip frosting over cookies.

Makes 6 dozen.

Icing:

1/4 c. butter
1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2-3 tbsp. milk

Heat all ingredients over low heat until melted.
