GRANDMA'S RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. rice
1/2 c. white sugar
Dash of salt
2 c. boiling water
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Mix the ingredients in a Pyrex dish in the same order as given. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, stirring twice during baking. Fifteen minutes before pudding is done, sprinkle nutmeg on top.
