GRANDMA BETTE'S FRICHIK
CASSEROLE
 
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup diced onion
2 cups diced mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups FriChik, diced
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 cups cooked brown rice
1 cup sliced water chestnuts
1/3 cup FriChik broth
1/2 tsp salt
Slivered almonds (optional)

Sauté celery, onion, and mushrooms in a small amount of oil.

In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix in sautéed vegetables.

Spray casserole dish with non-stick spray and add casserole mixture. Add slivered almonds into and/or on top of casserole.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
