CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE #1 
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/4 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk or milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

ICING:

5-6 tbsp. buttermilk or milk
1/2 stick butter
4-6 tbsp. cocoa
1 lb. powdered sugar

Microwave or heat butter and water until melted (2 minutes approximately in microwave). Add 1/4 cup cocoa, sugar, flour, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and baking soda. I stir well after each ingredient is added (by hand). Mix well. Pour into floured and greased sheet cake pan or 11 x 15 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

ICING: Bring to a boil butter, buttermilk, and cocoa. Take off stove and gradually pour in powdered sugar mixing with hand mixer. Ice cake while it is hot. DELICIOUS! (The icing is much better with buttermilk.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
