BETTY'S BUTTERY BITE-SIZED TARTS 
Tart Shells:

2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 lb. butter, softened
2 c. flour

Mix all ingredients well. Form into small balls about the size of an English walnut. Place in small tart pans and press around bottom and sides. Sprinkle small amount of pecans in bottom and fill 3/4 full with filling. Sprinkle more pecans on top and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.

Filling:

1 3/4 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
pinch of salt
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Beat eggs with fork; add sugar, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Mix well.
