BOURBON BALLS 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafer
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. pecans or walnuts, finely chopped
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. bourbon
1/2 c. confectioners sugar

Crush finely the vanilla wafers to make 3 cups. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix all ingredients except the 1/2 cup confectioners sugar. Shape into 1/2 to 1 inch balls. Roll the balls in the 1/2 cup confectioners sugar. Store in a tightly covered container for 3 days. Makes about 4 dozen balls.
