PRIZE WINNING OKLAHOMA PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. Griffins waffle syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. Crisco
1 tsp. pure vanilla
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. pecans

Beat eggs slightly. Add sugars, salt, syrup, butter, Crisco and vanilla. Blend well; stir in pecans. Slowly pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees, 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Bake for additional 25-30 minutes.
