PINEAPPLE PUDDING CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines golden butter cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temp.
2 (3 1/3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 (9 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
Crushed cherries & nuts

Prepare cake as directed on package, grease cookie sheet with sides or 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inch pan with sides. Spread out on pan. Bake at 350 degrees. Cool cake.

Mix pudding as directed and cream cheese, whip until smooth. Spread on cake. Spread drained pineapple, crushed pineapple, nuts and chopped cherries on top. Chill before serving. Can also use bananas in place of pineapple.
