ANISE CANDY 
2 c. light corn syrup
4 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
3/4 tsp. anise oil
3/4 tsp. red food coloring

Grease 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Combine corn syrup and sugar in large saucepan. Pour in water. Stir to mix. Cover, boil over high heat 5 minutes. Remove cover, boil to hard crack stage, 300 degrees. Remove from heat. Stir in anise oil and food coloring. Pour into baking dish. When cool break into pieces.
