RED ROBBIN (Welsh Rarebit) 
1 can tomato soup, undiluted
1 c. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
Crackers or 4 slices hot toast

In top of a double boiler, mix the soup and cheese. Cook slowly until cheese melts. Add the beaten egg, salt and pepper. Serve over saltine crackers or over hot toast. Serves 4.
