4 HOUR BEEF STEW 
2 lb. stew meat
6 carrots, sliced in chunks
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
3 potatoes, cubed
1 c. tomato juice
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. Minute tapioca

Put meat in casserole dish, raw, not even browned, then put everything on top except potatoes. Cover and bake 4 hours at 275 degrees. Add potatoes the last 1/2 hour.
