GINGER SNAPS 
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. light molasses
2 1/4 c. flour

Mix as any cookie dough. Take 1 teaspoon dough for each cookie. Ferol rolls her 1 teaspoon dough into a ball, then into sugar, then presses flat. Ada pressed hers with a glass dipped in sugar. Grease your cookie sheet, place cookies 1/2 inch apart. Bake 8 minutes at 375 degrees.
