SMOKED TURKEY & CABBAGE 
4 smoked turkey wings
1 lg. cabbage

Soak turkey wings in warm water for about 30 minutes. Pour water off and wash thoroughly. Cut turkey wings apart and cook until almost done. Reserve liquid stock from turkey. Remove turkey from the bone and cut up into desired size pieces. Cut up cabbage and wash, put into reserved stock along with turkey pieces. Cook cabbage until desired doneness. This recipe is especially for individuals who are salt conscious.

I substituted the water with chicken stock and added 2 cloves of garlic with the wings. I perserved the stock I also added chopped onions carrots and potatoes with the cabbage this made a nice little stew

I used smoked turkey wings drummettes (after cleaning and soaking in warm water), added garlic, chopped onions, green pepper along with little sea salt and black pepper corn (I cook til turkey fall off the bone). Added washed and cut cabbage to stock with red pepper, carrots, also more green pepper. Cook til desired tenderness. I like to scoop the cabbage with pieces of turkey in every bite. I will try cooking my turkey in chicken broth the next time.
