GRANOLA 
4 c. regular rolled oats
1 c. shredded coconut
3/4 c. chopped or sliced almonds
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. instant non-fat dry milk
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a large cookie sheet with vegetable shortening; set aside. Mix first 6 ingredients together in a large bowl. Into small saucepan, combine honey and oil; heat gently to dissolve honey. Pour honey-oil into dry ingredients, stirring well to thoroughly coat and mix. Spread mixture onto greased cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until toasted to your liking. As it bakes, stir the granola with a spatula every 5 minutes. Cool completely. Store at room temperature in air-tight container.
